A little history about the BackTrack. Created by Mati AharoniBacktrack is a
security consultant from Israel. So it is acollaborative community. Backtrack is itself a merger of whaxwhich is one of the Linux distributions that are used to test the security of the origin of whax itself from Knoppix. When Knoppixpeak at version 3.0 it is called with whax. Whax can be used totest the security of networks everywhere. [6] Max Mosser is acollection of specialized security auditor himself to conductsecurity penetration on Linux. The combination of the auditor andthis alone produces 300 Whax tool used for testing networksecurity. Auditor security collection is also available on knoppix.
